Trying to resurrect a dead blog

God, it's been more than a year? Man, i have to post something hear, if only for the fact that Edgewater is constantly changing. The ugly Lego block condo...the what-is-it-going-to-be remodeling going on at the building across from the Bryn Mawr el station...the two or three new restaurants that have popped up...the guys who have started hanging out in front of That Little Mexican Cafe and the little grocery store across from White Hen who are becoming a nusiance and threaten to force the community to vote the area dry...

So much going on, so little time...

How the hell did that lego block complex ever get its permits? I watched that thing rise with horror.

It's so ugly it's almost iconic. There has to be some sort of award. AHHHHHH, I know... I need to submit my photo of it to James Howard Kunster for his Eyesore of the Month. why didn't I think of it before?

And it's still a see-through. Now that the real estate market is bust for at least the next five years, they'll be lucky if they can even rent those places out. Much better condo developments than that one sit in Edgewater awaiting buyers.
